Things You'll Need:
- 2 tea bags (chamomile for blondes, rooibos for red heads, and black tea for darker brunettes)
- 2 cups of water
-
Step 1
First, you will want to start by choosing the tea bags you need to use. Chamomile tea bags work best on blonde hair, as it has golden glow to it. Rooibos is rich orange mixture of tea that will work best for red hair. Black tea is best for darker brunettes and black hair.
-
Step 2
Once a week - or whenever you feel like you could use a refreshing touch to your hair - steep 2 tea bags (of your chosen tea type) in boiling water for 10 minutes. Let the liquid cool to room temperature. (If you don't have much time, stick it in the freezer for a few minutes.)
-
Step 3
Pour the mixture over just shampooed, wet hair and rub it through the way that you would shampoo.
-
Step 4
Leave the mixture in for at least 10 minutes and then rinse out and condition to seal in the silky, softness. Enjoy the results. Repeat as often as you would like.
