How to Update your wardrobe for Summer Fashions

Spring Fashions will continue throughout the summer, but key pieces will be added for Summer Fashions to make up the Spring/Summer Collection. Since Spring Fashions is mostly 50s inspiration, Bohemian, Street Chic, Minimalistic, Geometric, Biker and Aviator Inspiration, ethnic inspiration, Western, "Jeannie" pants, trench coat, and gladiator, platform and strappy shoes, Summer Fashions will be all about 70s inspiration and light clothes mixed and matched with the Spring fashions.

• browse in malls or internet to find similar pieces that you like

1. Add basic and practical pieces from the 70s.
   Such must-haves include:
   -nylon stretch vest
   -patchwork blouse that gathers at the waist, elbows and collar
   -short skirt with one layer of ruffles at the bottom
   -a small vintage purse and a denim purse
   -long sleeve white shirt and a short sleeve shirt
   -high heel slingback platform shoes and high heel knee-high boots -ethnic-inspired charm necklace
   -denim boot cut pants
   -stretch cropped pants
   -penny loafers
   -carry-on bag
   -short cardigan with wide collar
   -print t-shirt.

2. Add 70s-inspired light casuals.
   For jewelry, wear ethnic-inspired necklace and multicolored gems on a gold chain necklace in 2 strands as well as a light scarf.
   For shoes, wear flat biker boots and flat gladiator sandals.
   For purses, consider carrying a small tote bag or shoulder bag with little pockets on front side, kind of like a safari purse.
   Key must-haves: Boxy short jacket with wide collar and cropped sleeves in nylon, boxy short jacket with short sleeves in stretch, white cotton short sleeve light blouse, cropped cargo pants, tank top, stretch wrap around top, trompe-l'oeil sleeveless jersey dress, wide-scoop short sleeve striped jersey t-shirt and tailored pants

3. Add some feminine 70s pieces.
   Such pieces include:
   -70s blazer
   -2-layered short skirt with detailed design
   -high heel platform sandals
   -short sleeve dress
   -oblong purse with small handle and long shoulder strap
   -short sleeve boxy dress
   -slouchy shoulder bag
   -short sleeve shirt
   -belt that has a small buckle with some design on it
   -sleeveless jersey low-waist short dress
   -mini purse with long narrow handle
   -short sleeve dress with drawstring waist and cargo pockets.

4. Add the summer casuals for Summer 2009.
   -Safari jacket
   -jersey tank top with a beaded drawing
   -stretch shorts
   -sleeveless short dress with bib collar
   -sleeveless jersey t-shirt with square collar
   -stretch cropped pants
   -blazer
   -wide collar short sleeve tie-dye blouse
   -short skirt
   -flat strappy sandals and 1-inch heel strappy sandals
   -high heel platform sandals with feathers on front strap and narrow strap around the ankle
   -small hand purse that looks like a wallet
   -narrow belt with small turquoise buckle design
   -small purse with short handle and feather tiers
   -pouch-like shoulder purse
