Finding products that moisturize the skin is a problem when you have oily skin. This mask helps to remove excess oil, while moisturizing the skin and helping to promote healthy skin cells.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 Tablespoons of Ground Oatmeal
  • 1/4 Cup of Yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon of Honey
  • 1 Teaspoon of Lemon Zest
  1. Step 1

Pour the oatmeal into a small mixing bowl. Be sure to use a plain (not vanilla) yogurt with no sugar added. I suggest using an organic yogurt. For vegans, you can replace this with a soy yogurt.

  2. Step 2

Add in the ground oatmeal and stir it in gently.

  3. Step 3

For the zest, you can use either a citrus planer that gives you small flakes, or you could just peel a long piece and then chop it into fine bits and pour it in.

  4. Step 4

Add in the zest and honey, and gently stir the ingredients together.

  5. Step 5

Put a cover over the mixture and allow it to sit in the fridge for 20 minutes.

  6. Step 6

Spread the mixture over your dry face, and massage it into the skin.

  7. Step 7

Wait 30-45 minutes, then rinse the mixture off with cool water.
