Things You'll Need:
- Big Mixing Bowl
- Fork
- Pot for Boiling Eggs
- Can Opener
- 6 6oz. cans of tuna in water
- 6 Hard boiled eggs
- 5 tsp. sweet relish
- 1/2 medium onion-chopped
- 1 medium green bell pepper-chopped
- 5 tsp. lite mayo
- 2 tsp. sugar
- salt / pepper to taste
-
Step 1
Put eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Turn burner high and bring to a rolling boil. You’ll have to watch this, because once the water begins a rolling boil, you will turn the heat down to medium and cook 10 more minutes.
-
Step 2
While your eggs are boiling, chop your onions and peppers and go ahead and put them in the large mixing bowl.
-
Step 3
Your eggs should be boiling by now. If your eggs have come to a rolling boil, turn the burner to medium and cook an additional 10 minutes.
-
Step 4
Open all 6 cans of tuna, drain thoroughly and pour in the bowl with the onions and peppers.
-
Step 5
Add 6 tsp. of sweet relish to the tuna mixture.
-
Step 6
Add 5 tsp of lite mayo. More if you like it really wet, less if you prefer dry.
-
Step 7
Add 2 tsp. of sugar
-
Step 8
Your boiled eggs should be ready. You can pour the water off the eggs and fill the pot with cold water and add ice if you like to cool them down quicker.
-
Step 9
Peel eggs and add to tuna mixture. I don’t waste a lot of time slicing the eggs just put them in the tuna mixture whole and mash them up with your fork.
-
Step 10
Stir the tuna with the fork until you’re satisfied with the texture.
-
Step 11
Eat and enjoy.
