Do you want to lose weight and keep it off. To do so you need a comprehensive weight loss program.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Avoid the Fad Diets.
If it is new, it ain't true. Simply speaking there is no get rich quick or lose weight fast miracle program. If we do not put anything into it we will get nothing out of it. That said we know the tried and true; Healthy Diet and Regular Physical Exercise.

  2. Step 2

    Healthy Diet.
To lose weight and improve your health you need to eat right. That is simple and it is real and there is no way around it. You can not lose weight and eat poorly. You can not lose weight and overeat. If you take diet pills or weight loss nutritional supplements to lose weight and still eat poorly you will gain whatever weight you lose right back.

  3. Step 3

    Eat.
You do not lose weight by starving. You must eat a well balanced diet of 5 to 6 meals a day. This would include a healthy breakfast, morning snack, balanced healthy lunch, afternoon snack, supper and an evening snack. A healthy menu of primarily fruit and vegetables, whole grains, nuts and beans. Your portions should be smaller and healthy. You must eat regularly and maybe cut down your daily calories by 10% to 15%. Much more than that and your body may go into starvation mode. That means your metabolism slows down and you burn less fat. Hence your body will store fat and you will eventually gain weight.

  4. Step 4

    Drink Water.
Drink Plenty of Water. Not only is water necessary for the optimal performance of every organ in our bodies a well as even the minute cellular functions. Water helps improve our metabolism. An increased metabolism means we burn fat and lose weight. When we do not drink enough water our body retains water and therefore we could gain weight and denigrate our health by not drinking enough water.

  5. Step 5

    Exercise.
Regular physical exercise is mandatory to burn fat and keep it off. Exercise is not just important to lose weight but it can also help you fight disease and improve your overall health. We need resistance and aerobic exercise. Both are equally important to lose weight and optimize your health. Both are equally important in your comprehensive healthy weight loss program.

  6. Step 6

    Nutritional Supplements.
Some weight loss nutritional supplements may be helpful to jump start your weight loss program. No nutritional supplement or diet pill is a weight loss plan by itself. Many of them tell you to eat healthy, exercise and drink plenty of water. There are three types I would recommend as part of a comprehensive weight loss program. A) Detoxification or body/colon cleanse. The start to any program is to cleanse the toxic waste and toxic weight from your body. B) Appetite Suppressant. As you start your weight loss program, some people have a hard time eating less and a good appetite suppressant helps as your body acclimates to eating less. C)Vitamin and Nutrient supplementation. Not for weight loss but to ensure we get the vitamin and nutrients our bodies require everyone should consider vitamin nutritional supplements.

  7. Step 7

    Fresh Air, Sunlight and Sleep.
God has his way of putting it all together. Eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly and drink plenty of water are key but fresh air, sunlight and rest are the other ingredients to a healthy weight loss plan that you can not ignore for complete success and a healthy lifestyle. We put them all together and we will live longer healthier lives.
