Do you have a Blackberry Storm or any other Blackberry that lags and has glitches. A smart phone should have an operating system that provides a pleasant experience just like your pc or Mac does. With an OS upgrade, your Blackberry Storm can operate smoothly.

      Go to Blackberry.com and select your country. Then select the software tab at the top. Then, select Blackberry Desktop Software in the left column.Download it and install.Blackberry Desktop Software allows you to update your Blackberry using your PC. It also allows you to transfer files to your Blackberry.

      Go to Crackberry.com. Then in the search bar (located in the upper right), enter the phrase "latest (phone model number) os'. So if you have a blackberry curve on verizon, you would enter 'latest 8330 os'. If you have a storm you would enter "latest 9530 os".

      Click on the first thread from the search results. Within the first post of that thread, there will be a link to download the os. Click on the link and download the OS. It doesn't matter if it says beta, because it is the same version that phone carriers release. There is no difference between a beta that is leaked and an OS that is released by the carrier if they are the same version number.

      Go to the location where you downloaded the os to and run it. It should take you through the process of installing it on your PC. After it has installed, go the the location "C:/ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\ResearchInMotion\Apploader on your computer. Look for a file called Vendor.xml. Then delete it. If it isn't there, that's fine and proceed to the next step.

      Connect your blackberry to your computer using a usb cable. Go back to the location "C:/ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\ResearchInMotion\Apploader" and click on Loader.exe. The Application Loader Wizard should now walk you through installing the new OS.
