This natural exfoliating hand soap is gentle enough for sensitive or chapped skin. It will help to promote healthy skin cells, while removing dead skin cells and soothing the skin underneath.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/4 Cup of Ground Oatmeal
  • 1/4 Cup of Powdered French Clay
  • 2 Tablespoons of Ground Almonds
  • 3 Teaspoons of Ground Rose Petals/Buds
  • 1 Drop of Rose Oil
  • 1 Drop of Lemon Balm Oil
  • Rosewater
  • Honey
  1. Step 1

In a medium or large mixing bowl, gently stir together the ground oatmeal, powdered french clay and ground almonds. If you have ground rose petals/buds put that in as well. If you only have regular dried rose petals/buds, then grind them down in a food processor or blender, then add them into the mixture and stir gently.

  2. Step 2

Pour the mixture into an airtight container. I suggest using a tupperware container, or a flour container or glass jar.

  3. Step 3

Store the mixture in a dry place, such as a cabinet. It will stay fresh for about 1 month.

  4. Step 4

To use the mixture, pour about 1 Tablespoon of the mixture into a small mixing bowl. Add one drop of both lemon balm oil, a little bit of honey (about 1/2 teaspoon), and then pour in a few drops of rosewater. Stir the mixture together, and continue to add a few drops of rosewater at a time, until it becomes a thick/medium paste.

  5. Step 5

Massage the mixture into your hands and fingers for about 5 minutes, then rinse off with cool water.
