When using harsh soaps or detergents, always wear gloves. For the soaps and detergents your hands are exposed to, always opt for more natural and organic options. Try to look for brands that promise to be good for sensitive skin, that's a sign that they don't have irritants in them.

When doing the dishes, or cleaning, use warmer waters instead of hot waters. Hot waters are bad enough on the skin, but combined with soaps they can cause even more damage to the skin.
