I'm always looking for ways to make money. Let me show you how to create a base system so that you can start saving money now.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pen and Paper
  1. Step 1

Create a Budget - Write a list of all the monthly expenses that you have, including all bills, housing, dining out, etc... and compare this to your monthly income. If your income is greater than your total expenses than move onto the next step. If your expenses are great than your income look to see where you can cut back so that you can save money every month.

  2. Step 2

Create 3 Financial Goals - Make a list of all your financial goals. Then, choose one immediate goal (buy a new computer), one medium term goal (save to buy a house) and one long term goal (save a certain % of paycheck for retirement). Each time you reach one of these goals create a new goal in the same category.

  3. Step 3

Find Ways to Save More Money - Such as clipping coupons on groceries that you buy, taking your lunch to work, skipping your morning latte, etc...

  4. Step 4

Final Step - Keep repeating the above steps and remember to treat yourself every once and a while to that you stay on track and do not get discouraged.
