If you have ever cut yourself and bleed onto the carpet you know how quickly blood stains set. You may think that the blood stain may never come out of your carpet. But that isn't the case. Follow these steps to easily remove blood stains from a carpet.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Take your cleaning cloth and run it under very cold water. Allow the cloth to be completely saturated. Wring the excess water from the cloth.

  2. Step 2

    Use the cold wet cloth and rub it over the blood stain. You may have to scrub hard and repeat several times.

  3. Step 3

    If the cold water does not remove all of the blood stain you will need to you peroxide.

  4. Step 4

    Take another cloth and place some peroxide onto the cloth. Dab the cloth and peroxide over the stain. This should remove all of the blood stain. After the stain is removed rub the area with the cold damp cloth again and then allow to dry.
