Set Up Your Mac To Share Files With Your PS3

If you own a Mac and a ps3 and you want to find a way to allow file sharing between the two look no further. I've researched a dozen ways to share files with from your Mac to your PS3 and this is by far the easiest method and most intuitive.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first thing you need to do is to make sure that your PS3 is on line in order for you to do that you have to go to the network settings in your ps3 console and then select the internet connection settings and go through the connections wizard to get your ps3 online. To help you with that portion I have included a link below this article to set up both the wireless and wired internet connections for your ps3.

  2. Step 2

From here all you have to do is go to your Mac and Google Nullriver. Once you find the Nullriver media software on the net and installed it to your Mac it's as simple as choosing which files you want to share and then going to your ps3 and selecting the files and running the files that you've shared.

  3. Step 3

If you need more detailed info, the link to the Nullriver installation instructions, are also listed below. Be advised that the trial only last for 30 minutes and the software cost 20 bucks, however I promise you that it is worth it, if you want a seamless process of sharing files.
