How to Apply Makeup for Clubs
Nightclubs are where you want to see and be seen -- so get ready with dramatic, bold makeup. Clubbing makeup is all about glamour and fun. A little more makeup is used for night than in the daytime so that your look can be seen in the low lighting of clubs, and so you can attract someone if your goal is to meet a romantic partner. The right application can give you a stunning look that will accentuate your features. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1
Over your foundation, apply bronzer to give your face a healthy glow, and then top with a shimmery translucent highlighting powder to give your face a bit of sparkle.
-
2
Use either liquid black eyeliner, or brightly colored, sparkly cream eyeliner pencils. Don't be afraid to line your lids all the way from the corner of your eye to the outer edge. Consider lining the inside of your bottom lid as well, but only with a pencil. Angle the eyeliner so that it extends past the outer edge of your eye for a more sexy and dramatic look.

Apply your dark shadow over the entire eye, up to the brow bone. On the brow bone, smudge a line of white shadow and blend the edges with the darker shadow. The white shadow highlights your brow bone and visually opens up your eyes. Use an accent color like bright green or purple on the crease of your eye to add contour.

4
Put a dot of white shadow on the inner corner of the eye to make your eyes pop. The white will also look stunning around black lights.
-
5
Curl your lashes. Apply a coat of waterproof mascara, let it dry, then apply a second coat.
-
6
Apply a lipstick and lip liner that are a little darker or brighter than what you normally wear. Go over the lipstick with a clear or sparkly gloss. The gloss adds shine to your lips and makes your lipstick last longer.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't want to be too outspoken, dramatize only one feature instead of all of them. For example, if you have given yourself dramatic eyes, play down the lips with a subtle shade. If you have bright, glossy lips, downplay the eyes.
Choose an eyeshadow that works well with your eye color. Brown or gold works well for blue eyes, purple or yellow works well for green eyes and green or pink looks good on brown eyes.
Waterproof makeup is best for clubbing if you have a tendency to sweat a lot when you dance.
