Things You'll Need:
- Cat collar
- Lanyard hook
-
Step 1
Cut away any remaining strap from your camera.
-
Step 2
Purchase a cat collar. Be sure to get one that has the old-fashioned metal connectors. Most collars now days have a plastic break-away fastener to keep the pet from becoming choked if they get caught. Great for cat, not so great for camera.
Walmart has some $1 ones that work great in their pet department. Not hanging up with other leashes and collars, but displayed where food is stored. -
Step 3
Remove any unnecessary things from collar. It is common to have bells or other decorative items sewn to the collar.
-
Step 4
Attach the lanyard hook to the hoop on your digital camera.
-
Step 5
Thread the collar through the lanyard hook and fasten. You can adjust the wrist band by adjusting the end of the collar.
