We all love the look and feel of our hair as we leave the salon. Then we try to avoid washing our hair as long as we can, to keep the perfect blow out they did. Now you can give yourself a perfect blowout just like a professional with this guide.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start by washing and conditioning your hair. Then apply a straightening serum to towel dried hair. Apply the serum starting at the roots and working your way down to the tips of your hair with a wide tooth comb. This helps to seal your hairs cuticles and lock out frizz. It also helps your hair avoid damage from the blow dryer and other heated hair appliances you use.

  2. Step 2

You can wait until your hair is about 80% dry before starting to blow dry. This saves potential damage to your hair and time. Now starting at the roots dry them all over to lock in the body. Then clip back the top half of your hair so you can first dry the underside of your hair. Using the hair dryer with vent attachment, focus the airflow right where you want it to dry your hair.

  3. Step 3

Use a round bristle brush because it grips your hair tightly to smooth out any kinks in your hairs texture.

Work with your hair in only two inch sections at a time, pull the brush down your hair shaft and aim the blow dryer above to dry your hair best. Do this all over until your hair is completely dry. Then you may want to apply a small amount of hair spray to lock in your look. Or place a small amount of a glossing serum to your finished hair to add shine.
