Poison Ivy; Poison Oak; Poison Sumac. All of these leafy enemies of a large group of people. Unfortunately, we do not realize that we have come in contact with the evil villain until it is to late.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Calamine Lotion or some sort of anti itch medicine.
  • Tissues.
  • Sterilized Needle.
  1. Step 1

After your first day or two of touching the plant that will give you a rash you will notice small bumps. After a day or two they will start to itch. Calamine Lotion works as well as anything else. It is also inexpensive. Some people recommend Oatmeal Baths if you have a severe reaction.

  2. Step 2

After the third day of your allergic reaction to these plants you should have most of the bumps visible. Use the Sterilized Needle and the tissues. You need to pop the bumps and push the poison from the infected area. This will help elleviate the itching sensation.

  3. Step 3

Use the antibiotic cream and use it where you popped the rash bumps. This will prevent any infection. Use it 2 to 3 times a day on the skin. After about 12 to 24 hours you should start seeing a scab on the area. You also should feel more like yourself.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you have a large rash. You should go see a doctor. The above information is for a smallto medium rash area.
  • If you have any on your face. See a doctor. They can give you a shot to help dry up the rash.
