This shampoo is perfect for normal use, and will help to prevend your new hair color from fading. It can also be used on dark or medium brown hair.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 Cups of Baby Shampoo
  • 1 Cup of Water
  • 1 Tablespoon of Dried Sage
  • 1 Tablespoon of Dried Rosemary
  • 5 Drops of Lavender Oil
  1. Step 1

Bring the water to a boil, then quickly remove from the heat and add in the sage and rosemary. Use a wooden spoon to stir the mixture to make sure the rosemary and sage doesn't just float at the top. Put the lid over the pot.

  2. Step 2

Wait about one hour, allowing the herbs to steep properly in the water.

  3. Step 3

Once the hour is up, strain the mixture into a medium or large mixing bowl.

  4. Step 4

Add in the lavender and baby shampoo, and gently stir the mixture together gently.

  5. Step 5

Pour the mixture into a cleaned out shampoo bottle, or lotion bottle. When using, just use 1 Tablespoon and massage into the hair. Wait 10 minutes, then rinse with cool water.

  6. Step 6

In between uses, store the shampoo in the fridge. It will stay fresh for about 4 weeks.
