We all can play a part in taking care of the planet. We can all start by doing one thing and see where it takes us. This article will give you ideas on things you can do to be a green employee. We can help the earth and help employment at the same time.

Step 1

GREEN IDEA 1: Bring your own cup to work. This saves on plastic cups at work. Making your own lunch can save you money as well.
Step 2

GREEN IDEA 2: Conserve the paper at the copy machine. If you can highlight the part you want to print on the computer then press print and under 'Page Range' click on 'Selection'. This will only print the portion you highlighted. You just saved paper. That is less money the company will send on buying paper.
Step 3

GREEN IDEA 3: The company can install energy saving lights. If your work place has large windows or receive great lighting from the sun. You can save energy by turning off the light. You have just done three things to save energy, help the economy and employment. Being green is easy and pays off in the end. We all can save more by being a little green.

on 5/29/2009 I tried this at Home Depot. The resistance was fierce. Tried to get them the recycle scrap metals, And the reams of paper we used each day. No luck.
