Things You'll Need:
-
Step 1
Pick the one chopstick with your right hand.
-
Step 2
Rest the thicker end of the chopstick between your thumb and pointer finger where they connect.
-
Step 3
Rest the smaller and narrow end of the chopstick on the tip of your ring finger.
-
Step 4
The second chopstick will need to be resting on the top of your middle finger and you can hold the chopstick in place by placing your thumb over the second chopstick. The end result will look something like this.
-
Step 5
Make sure that the chopsticks do not cross, preventing you from being able to pinch the food to pick it up.
-
Step 6
The chopsticks should not move when you are trying to pick up food. The bottom chopstick will stay in place and you will want to move the tip of your middle finger up and down to pick up the food.
