How to Make a Standard Breakfast

In this article you will learn how to make a wholesome breakfast in the morning for your family. Cereal is good for nutrition but at times you really need a down home country breakfast.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 pound of sausage, hot or mild
  • 6 egges (or more if you have a bigger family)
  • 2 slices of american cheese
  • butter or margarine
  • a loaf of bread(any kind)
  • spatula
  • fork
  • plates
  • jelly
  1. Step 1

    In an average size pan, heat to medium low heat. Open roll of sausage and roll into separate pieces. Place sausage in the skillet and let fry, turning from side to side until they are done. Set aside. Drain onto a paper towel.

  2. Step 2

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Butter bread and place on a cookie sheet or another oven proof pan. Place in the oven and cook until they are golden brown.

  3. Step 3

    In another frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet. Crack eggs and place into the skillet. Add salt and pepper. Season to taste. When eggs are almost finished, add two pieces of american cheese and blend in with the egg mixture.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use turkey, pork or beef sausage. If you don't like sausage, cook bacon or another meat of your choice.

on 6/20/2009 Basically in step 3 you would put the butter in the skillet and let it heat up. Add eggs to the heated butter in the skillet. Also add salt and pepper and the cheese. Blend together until the eggs are done and the cheese is melted.
