Things You'll Need:
- Networking
- Trip to Library
- Internet
- Time to Research
-
Step 1
Research job options among your friends. Who is happy? Who likes to talk about their work? Network, Network, oh and be sure to, Network!
-
Step 2
Consider sales. Maybe you are ready for a change and can afford to do so. Check into sale opportunities to see if there is a nice fit for you out there. Some sales jobs do not require previous sales experience.
-
Step 3
Update your resume to a skills based resume. Aim it to the skills you need for the type of new job you are seeking.
-
Step 4
Read books on careers. Go to the library or book stores. There are 2008 and 2009 books covering best growing careers/jobs.
-
Step 5
Try freelancing. There are opportunities in freelancing that may point you to a new career. Trying new things may help you make this change.
