Milk baths have been used since before the days of Cleopatra. Milk baths help to moisturize and soften the skin, and even help to cleanse the pores and remove dirt and excess oil.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 Cup of Powdered Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon of Grapeseed Oil
  • 3 Drops of Lavender Oil
  • 3 Drops of Lemon Oil
  1. Step 1

Pour the powdered milk into a small mixing bowl. I suggest using whole milk powdered milk for the best results.

  2. Step 2

Add in the grapeseed oil to the mixing bowl, and gently stir together with the powdered milk.

  3. Step 3

Add in the lavender oil and lemon oil, and stir together gently then cover and put in the fridge.

  4. Step 4

After about 10 minutes, take the mixture out of the fridge and prepare for your bath.

  5. Step 5

Start to run the water, and use warm water. I suggest using nothing warmer than room temperature. If you don't mind cool water, I suggest using cool water instead of warm for even better results.

  6. Step 6

As you start to run the water, cup the mixture into your hands and hold your hands under the running water until the mixture has completely dissolved.

  7. Step 7

I suggest using your leg to stir the bath together before stepping in, but this is not necessary.

  8. Step 8

Soak in the water for 30 minutes to an hour. You can add warm water over time as the water gets colder.
