Stop Lying to Yourself About Guys
Stop Lying to Yourself About Guys

Some white lies in a relationship may help keep it strong. However, most will damage the relationship and may keep us in bad or dead end relationships. Here is how to to identify lies you are telling yourself about your relationship or guy.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First stop thinking that Mr. Perfect is out there. Even Peter Perfect is not perfect. They do not exist. Guys at times are perfect but not always. In order to get past this think about what a mate is truly for in your mind and focus on finding a guy with those traits. Accept them when they are not are not perfect if they make you happy.

  2. Step 2

Mr. Good Enough is better than no one. Many of us feel alone and think that they will accept someone who is not too good just to have someone. Realize that in a relationship things can happen that can make you stuck with this man forever. Do you really want to settle for the rest of your life?

  3. Step 3

Do not assume that you are the cause for success or failure in the relationship. An relationship is about two people so it can not be all about you or him.

on 4/19/2009 Good article on how to help women not lie to themselves about guys. Reminds me of the movie He's Just Not that into you (or book since it was made into a movie).
