Step 1
There are rules to prank calling that you should always follow to keep it all in good fun and not get yourself in trouble.
* Keep it funny but friendly!
* Only prank call your friends and family. No strangers! Sorry, but you can get in lots of trouble.
* Apologize if they get upset. -
Step 2
With those rules in mind, let's get started! The first thing to do when prank calling, is to use an unknown number so they won't suspect it. You can call from a phone card, Skype, or *67 (which doesn't always work). I prefer Skype for soundboard prank calls. You can use soundboards without dissortion. You can download Skype for free and make calls.

Soundboards: These are tricky but funny things to use. Most are Celebrity voices that have been captured and uploaded to use by simply clicking the caption you want to use to talk to your prankee.
I prefer to use Arnold Schwarzenegger as my prank soundboard. It's too funny and you have way too much to choose from. However, there are lots of other voices and people that you can use. -
Step 4
Now to use this effectively, you must first set up your calling preferences for Skype. Make sure that your volume and audio settings are set to play sound from the computer, not the mic. It's simple you go into Volume control - Go to Options - Preferences - Click INPUT and Recording - Make sure your LINE, MIC & STEREO MIX are all clicked.

You then want to pull up your soundboard. There are many different sites to choose from. I'm a fan of realmofdarkness.net. They have 100's of different soundboard clips.
You dial your chosen friend to prank, and when they answer - simply click which message to say to them. Most soundboards have reply answers, and it's easy to carry on a conversation with unsuspecting friend for sometime! Have fun!
