When choosing a diet program, it is imperative that you choose one that is both healthy and that can fit into your lifestyle. There is one diet program available that is not advertised on television and you may never have heard of. It is the Paleolithic diet program. By making simple changes to your eating habits, you can enjoy a Paleolithic diet that is both healthy and easy to implement.

The Paleolithic diet program is based on the belief that we were all eating a lot healthier when we were hunter-gatherers. Modern civilization has brought with it a lot of extra carbohydrates, additives, colorings, preservatives, and foods that were not part of our original, natural diet. You can make changes to your diet that will reflect the diets of people of earlier times.

  1. Step 1

    The first change that should be made to adopt a Paleolithic diet is to remove complex carbohydrate meals from your diet. People in the Stone Age didn’t make elaborate breads or pastas, and by removing them from your diet, you will be healthier.

  2. Step 2

    Diets of our ancestors were richer in high-protein, low-fat fish. They also ate food that was much higher in fiber – carrots, beets, nuts, beans, and green vegetables of all kinds. Try these combination of foods with matching exercise to help you lose weight using this program.

  3. Step 3

    Find green leafy vegetables from our ancestors. Ask your grandparents of why some of them live longer than in today's generation. Old folks knew what healthy diets are in their times.

  4. Step 4

    Plant your own vegetables in the garden and start eating fresh clean and healthy diet everyday. You can plant tomato, green onions and other Vegetables in your backyard and eat them fresh. Wash it properly before eating to avoid food contamination.

  5. Step 5

    You can travel to Ancient Countries and try their healthy feast like fried bugs and other edible insects. You can try in Thailand first and eat some of their fried Crickets and then travel to Japan and taste their fried frogs.
