BitTorrent makes it easy to share large files with friends and family.

BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer file-sharing protocol used for distributing large amounts of data. Essentially it's just a basic set of rules to help you quickly download files, as well as distribute files as they are being downloaded. Most of the time, large files are downloaded or distributed to other users. To use the protocol, you need a small client file that lets you connect to other BitTorrent users and download files. Once your client is in place, you can download movies, full-season sitcoms, or even an entire collection of your favorite music.
