This article will show you the different types of paints that you may use for painting your interior heating ducts. This will make your job easier, since there are many paints out there to choose from.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    In the second step I will show you the paints that you can use on interior heating ducts that do not require a primer or sealant to be used before you paint its surface. In step three I will show you the different types of paints that require a primer or sealant before painting.

  2. Step 2

    These are the paints that you can choose from to paint your interior heating ducts without having to use a primer or sealant first: Rubber based paint (not latex), Aluminum Paint, Metal Primer, or Catalyzed Enamel.

  3. Step 3

    These are the paints that you can choose from to paint your interior heating ducts that do require a primer or sealant to be applied before you use this paint: Semi-gloss (Latex), Flat paint (Alkyd), Semi-gloss (Alkyd), or Gloss eneamel (Alkyd).
