Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Every computer has some default settings for using RAM. Even though, computer has 2-3 GB RAM, default setting allows computer to use only a part of RAM. Most of the people are not aware about this. Even though, their computers have a lot of RAM, they feel that computer is running slow or there are out of memory issue.

  2. Step 2

    There is a very simple solution to increase the default RAM usage. You can set minimum and maximum RAM usage using a simple command.

  3. Step 3

    Go to Control Panel
    Go to Java
    In 'Java' panel, click view Java applet running settings.
    Set Java Running Parameters to:

    -Xmx256M -Xms256M -Xss128k

    Save and apply these changes.
    Restart your browser and if required, restart the computer for these changes to take effect.

  4. Step 4

    This kind of troubleshooting is very easy, if you know the exact root cause. You can go to Windows Help using F1 function key and search for your answer there.
