Elderflower is a common facial product, it was even used hundreds of years ago in Europe for facial creams to help with blemished skin. This elderflower facial toner is a great way to gently cleanse the skin from dirt and oil, and also helps to fight and treat blemishes. The lavender and lemon oil also help to prevent and treat blemishes, and also moisturize the skin and protect your skins natural pH balance.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 Cup of Distilled Water
  • 1 Tablespoon of Elderflowers
  • 1 Tablespoon of Glycerin
  • 4 Drops of Lavender Oil
  • 2 Drops of Lemon Oil
  1. Step 1

Bring the water to a boil in a small pan, and remove from the heat once the bubbles begin to roll across the top of the water.

  2. Step 2

Pour the elderflowers (dried or fresh) into the water, and use a wooden spoon or whisk to gently press them under the water to make sure they don't just float. Allow the mixture to steep for an hour.

  3. Step 3

Put the lavender oil and lemon oil into the mixture, and gently stir it all together gently.

  4. Step 4

Pour the mixture into an airtight container, and store in the fridge for use. The mixture will stay fresh for about 3 weeks. Just use in replace of your regular toner or astringent.
