It's difficult to find good moisturizers when you have oily skin. This moisturizer will help to moisturize the skin, but won't clog the pores. The lemon oil will even help to cleanse the pores and prevent any build up. This moisturizer is great for the summer, or harsh winters, and can be used on the face as well as the body.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 Cup of Distilled Water
  • 3 Teaspoons of Glycerin
  • 3 Drops of Lemon Oil
  • 3 Drops of Lavender Oil
  1. Step 1

Though I suggest using lemon oil and lavender oil, you can use replacement essential oils as well. Some good replacements include lemongrass, orange blossom oil, geranium oil, rose oil, sandalwood oil, and tangerine oil. I do not suggest using any other essential oils, since it won't have the same affect.

  2. Step 2

Pour all of the ingredients into an airtight container. I suggest using a spritzer bottle for spray on use since it's a liquid moisturizer. However, you could also use an old toner or cosmetics bottle that has been cleaned out, and dried out thoroughly.

  3. Step 3

You can store the bottle at room temperature, but I suggest storing it in the fridge. If stored in the fridge, it will last for about 2 months. At room temperature it should stay fresh for about 3 weeks.

  4. Step 4

Be sure to shake it thoroughly before use. Do not use in place of your regular facial moisturize, but use throughout the day to help protect and moisturize the skin. It can be used on the face, as well as the body.
