Another way to get people to enter is to give extra entries to people who spread the word for you about the Giveaway. They can earn extra entries by twittering about your Giveaway. Extra entries if they post about it on there blog or sites such as Facebook or MySpace.

In you blog post mention that you will have upcoming giveaways to hook some readers in to check back often. Remember a lot of visitors are just stoping by to enter the contest and they will be gone before you know it. The key is to keep them coming back with an interesting blog and incentives like future giveaways.

Run the sweepstakes for a week or two. During the contest time frame post new updates to your blog frequently to catch readers attention. Use a website like randon.org to randomly pick the winner at the end of the contest. Once the winner is chosen announce in on your website and thank everyone for participating. Then you can come back and thank me.
