How to Make Cinco de Mayo Place Cards and Party Favors

With Cinco de Mayo around the corner you may be thinking about planning a party. Want some great inexpensive ideas for place cards that are sure to please all your guests. Don't worry..you won't need to have the skills of Martha Stewart or a long list of costly supplies..just the ability to write and follow a few directions.

Things You'll Need:

• Permanent Marker
• Paint Pen

   Cinco de Mayo (mini cactus) Place Cards/Party Favors

   To make the mini Cactus Place Card Hold go to any Dollar store or Garden Center and purchase a mini cactus for each of your guests. Next decorate a Place Card for each guest to set in the pot. There are many designs and clip art available online or you may decide to decorate it yourself.

   Cinco de Mayo Place Cards (mini sombrero)

   To make the mini sombrero Place Card holders go online and shop for the best price. There are all price ranges depending on what quality and quantity your budgeting for your party. Once you have your sombreros you are ready to design your cards.

   Cinco de Mayo Place Cards/Party Favors (maracas)

   To Make the Maracas Place Card Holder shop online for wood Maracas because you are going to use a paint pen (purchased at any craft store) to write each guests name on the side. Once the Maracas has dried you will lay one on each plate prior to your guests arrival.
