Things You'll Need:
- 1 Cup of Distilled Water
- 1/4 Cup of Parsley
- 2 Tablespoons of Dried Peppermint Leaves
- 10 Drops Tincture of Benzoin
- 3 Drops of Peppermint Oil
-
Step 1
Chop up the fresh parsley into tiny pieces, then put in a small bowl with the dried peppermint leaves.
-
Step 2
Pour the water into a small pan and bring the water to a boil. Once the water reaches a light boil (at the point where the bubbles just begin to release to the top of the water) bring the water off the heat.
-
Step 3
Pour the parsley and peppermint leaves into the water, then use a wooden spoon to gently stir it into the water quickly.
-
Step 4
Allow the parsley and peppermint to steep for about 30 minutes.
-
Step 5
Once the 30 minutes are over, add the tincture of benzoin and stir gently.
-
Step 6
Strain the mixture, and then store in an air tight container at room temperature.
-
Step 7
This mixture is more difficult than most fresh toners, it should only be kept for about 10 days before making a new batch.
