Things You'll Need:
- 2 Cups of Distilled Water
- 1/4 Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Teaspoon of Crushed Fennel Seeds
- 1 Teaspoons of Glycerin
-
Step 1
If you don't have fennel seeds that are crushed (which can be hard to come by) just take about 2 Teaspoons of regular whole fennel seeds, and use a blender or food processor set to pulsate to grind them down until they're about 1/6th their original size.
-
Step 2
Bring the water to a boil, and remove the pan from the heat once the bubbles begin a light boil (this is when the bubbles begin to release from the bottom of the pan).
-
Step 3
Put the fennel seeds into the water immediately once it's removed from the heat. Allow the seeds to steep in the water for an hour.
-
Step 4
Drain the fennel seeds from the water and dispose of them. Pour the remaining water into a medium sized bowl.
-
Step 5
Add in the apple cider vinegar and the glycerin and stir gently until combined thoroughly.
-
Step 6
Pour the mixture into an airtight container, and store at room temperature. The mixture will stay fresh for about one month.
