Things You'll Need:
- solid light colored swimming tube
- permanent markers
- large envelopes
- pool related stickers

Step 1
Buy cheap solid light colored swimming tubes (one per invitee). You can find these at dollar stores, ebay, and anywhere else where cheap toys are sold.

Step 2
Using a permanent marker, write the name of the party in decorative letters on the top of the tube. For example, if it is a birthday party for Jane, write "Jane's birthday party". If the party is a graduation party write "Class of 2009 Graduation Party".

On the bottom of the swimming tube, write the invitation details:
A. Include all relevant information that you normally would in a party invitation
B. Use swimming and pool related terms for a creative touch.
Examples:
- Swim on over to our house
- Dive into the excitement
- Have a splashing good time
- Our house is located 547 laps after Main Street -
Step 4
If you'd like, you can decorate with swimming related drawings using colorful permanent markers.

Step 5
Place the swimming tube in a large envelope.

Step 6
Write the name and address of invitee on the envelope. Write your return address.

Place a stamp on the envelope (make sure to include enough postage for the weight of the swimming tube).

Decorate the envelope with pool related stickers being sure not to cover addresses or stamp.

Mail invitation envelope to invitees.

Wait for the invitees to compliment you on your creative and cute swimming party invitations.
