With Cinco de Mayo Day right around the corner what's more fun than throwing a festive party. The best part is if you follow some of my suggestions not only your quests have a great time you'll have done it CHEAP!!!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Every successful party needs decorations to set the mood. With Dollar Stores on every corner you are in luck and will save big on decorations. I found all of my decorations for a dollar at the Dollar Tree. I was even able to find sombreros to give each guest to wear.

Next you'll need to purchase plates, napkins, and plastic forks, knives and spoons. I was able to purchase all of the above at the Dollar store as well. I bought mine in random bright citrus colors to keep it in the festive spirit of the holiday. I even found deposable margarita glasses.

  3. Step 3
Inexpensive Cinco de Mayo Food Ideas

For food you can prepare enchiladas or burrito and ask each of your guest to bring their favorite side dish. The drinks can be as simple as Corona and Wine Coolers. For dessert you can have the traditional Mexican Flan or churros.
