Things You'll Need

  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Homemade tomato sauce

Instructions

      Preheat oven to 350 F. In a bowl, mix turkey, egg, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, green onion, and garlic. Grind up together with your hands. Pour in 1 to 2 tbsp. olive oil. Shape into meatballs.

      Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake in oven for 25 minutes, checking every 10 minutes and turning. In the meantime, fill a medium pot with water and heat to boiling. Add pasta and cook according to package directions.

      Heat sauce in a pan. Do not let sauce boil.

      Drain pasta. Add pasta and meatballs to sauce and mix to coat pasta.
      Serve with Parmesan cheese.
