Fine wood furniture and drinking glasses definitely should never meet. But for those instances where the inevitable happens, fear not, a simple household item can erase the problematic ring left behind. You can do it yourself with out having your furniture refinished, which helps to save money.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Soft Cloths
  • Tooth Paste (not gel)
  • Furniture Polish
  • Water
  1. Step 1

Dab a small amount of tooth paste onto your cloth. With a circular motion scrub lightly. Continue scrubbing until you see the ring disappear. Check often to make sure you stop scrubbing once the water ring is gone. (this is so you don't scratch the surface) Continue scrubbing and checking until the stain is removed.

  2. Step 2

With a clean damp cloth wipe away any residue making sure it is thoroughly clean before moving on to the next step.

  3. Step 3

Apply furniture polish with a clean dry cloth, as you normally would. This is a simple but effective way to inexpensively remove those ugly moisture rings.

Tips & Warnings
