How to Become a Better Madden Player

As John Madden retires his football video game rolls on as strong as ever. John Madden has had his name on the countries most popular sports video game for at least 9 years. If you are a fan of the game then you know how challenging it is to master. Here are some tips that will definitely make you a better Madden Football player.

1. Develop a style of play or Madden identity. Are you a running, pounding, three yards and a cloud of dust kind of guy or are you a fast shooting run and gun precision passer.

2. Once you decide on a style of play pick a team that best fits this identity. Such as the Titans would be a good running team while Cardinals would be a good passing team, although there are a few teams that do both pretty well such as the Cowboys,Steelers, and Patriots to name few.

3. Study and practice defense. Spend more time working on your defense then any other part of the game because if you can make it difficult for your opponent to score you will always be in the game, most games are decided by one or two drives and who makes the most mistakes offensively. Use your Madden option in practice games to see which plays he would pick in certain situations. Remember defense wins championships.

4. Play other good players, you will never get better playing lower level players that pose no challenge. It is sometimes good to lose, It makes you better as you learn from your mistakes.
