Things You'll Need:
- 2 Tomatoes or 1 basket of Chery tomatoes
- Fresh Mozzarella Cheese (usually will come in container sitting in water or plastic wrapped. It will be a lot whiter than mozzarella you buy in normal packages.
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Olive Oil
- Italian Seasoning
-
Step 1
If you are using cherry tomatoes, take the cherry tomatoes and cut in halves. If you are using the regular slice them thinly. Place cherry tomatoes in a bowl or place sliced tomatoes on a platter.
-
Step 2
Take the mozzarella cheese and to drain the water from it, take a paper towel and wrap it around the cheese and press firmly draining the water from it. If you made the cherry tomatoes cut up in pieces equal to the size of the halved cherry tomatoes. If you are using sliced tomatoes, slice the mozzarella cheese in equal size of the tomatoes and place on top of the tomatoes.

Step 3
In a bowl, mix 2-1 parts of the balsamic vinegar to oil (2 parts balsamic one part olive oil.) I usually use 4 tablespoons of the vinegar and 2 olive oil. Mix together and add in a teaspoon of Italian Seasoning. Pour mixture on the sliced tomatoes or pour in to the cherry tomatoes and mix to coat. You can add more or less if needed.
