How to Record Calls on a Blackberry Storm
The Blackberry Storm is a neat new phone that comes with a wide array of applications and capabilities. Except one very important one... Many people don't realize that Blackberry phones do not come equipped with a recording device to record a phone call. Here is a permanent work around that will require a small investment of about $18.

1
Invest in an Olympus TP-7 recording device--it will cost you about $18. It looks like the same earbud microphone that you use to speak to people on the phone and listen to music on your Blackberry Storm. Scroll down to "Resources" below to see what it looks like.

2
Plug the Olympus TP-7 into a recording device, such as a small tape recorder. The recorder will power and charge the recording device as you talk, so make sure it is stocked with fresh batteries or plugged into the wall.

Place the earbud into your ear and initiate the call. The earbud records everything that you hear, including your own words and the words coming from the person on the other line. You can place the Blackberry Storm near your ear as you normally would when calling. Just make sure that you can hear the other party clearly.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't have a tape recorder, you don't need to spend a lot for a new one. Just get a basic small one with a jack to accept the Olympus TP-7 device. Some even record your conversations digitally in an MP3 format. See "Resources" below for a reasonably priced recorder for your needs.
