Here is a MONEY SAVING recipe for your dog! You can make dog biscuits for pennies a piece. It's quick, easy and cheap! And your dog is sure to love them too!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup powdered milk
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup soft butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3 cups wheat flour
  • wax paper
  • cookie sheet
  1. Step 1

Mix the first 4 ingredients in a bowl. Then add the flour a bit at a time and keep mixing. You can do this by hand. You don't need a mixer.

  2. Step 2

When you have a thick dough, just plop it onto a floured board or counter top. Roll out the dough until it's about 1/2 inch thck. No rolling pin? Use a hard plastic cup or a very strong glass jar like a pickle jar. Works just fine!

  3. Step 3

Now start cutting out the bones! You can use a bone shaped cookie cutter or any shape cookie cutter or just cut into strips or squares or triangles. Your pet will love any shape!

  4. Step 4

Place the biscuits on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and bake at 325 degrees for about 50 minutes and let them cool. Store them in a paper bag or in an old cereal box so they do not build up moisture and will stay rock hard. Humans can eat these too... if you have strong teeth!
