Step 1
Visit the website www.savethefrogs.com.

Step 2
Learn about local amphibians. You can find resources at local colleges and universities, libraries, conservation departments, nature centers and zoos.

Teach about amphibians. If you are a seasoned herpetologist (or even a budding one) share your knowledge! Go to schools and teach children about the importance of amphibians within the ecosystem and about the general biology of this taxon.

Step 4
Write a poem. The Save the Frogs organization has a poetry contest ongoing. Entries are due no later than 4 May 2009.

Step 5
Create a work of art. Your art could win the chance to be on buttons, bumperstickers, or t-shirts. Make sure to submit by 4 May 2009.

Step 6
Create a video. Save the Frogs is having a video contest for filmmakers who create a video involving amphibians and their conservation. Make sure to submit by 4 May 2009.

Step 7
Support the organization. Hold fundraisers for the cause. Go onto the Save the Frogs website and purchase posters, wrist bands, tshirts, pins or bumper stickers.

Step 8
Spread the word! There are buttons and links at the Save the Frogs site that you can add to the signatures of your emails or your Facebook profiles.

Step 9
Get ready for next year! This event is going to be held annually in the last week of April. The next date is 30 April 2010. Be ready!
