Things You'll Need:

- Internet Access
- Printer (optional)
- Transportation to get there
-
Step 1
In your Internet page address bar, type the following Web site address, or copy and paste it into the box and hit enter: http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/storelocator/stores.aspx?x=y&
This Web site link is also available in resources at the bottom of the article. -
Step 2
Once you have completed step 1, follow the directions (at the bottom of the screen)and enter your city, state, and zip code into the appropriate boxes. Right click on the search button that follows.
-
Step 3
Any stores that are near your town will be displayed next. Useful information will be included, such as address, phone number, store hours, distance from you, and current events at each displayed location.
-
Step 4
If you are looking for a specific book at Barnes and Nobles, call them ahead of time, and ask if they have it in stock. If not, they can take your information and order it for you. You are able to look through the book and decide whether you still want to buy the book. If it is not what you are looking for you have the option to decline purchasing it. You will avoid wasting money on books that do not include what you are looking for, which can happen when you order books on-line.
