Instructions

    • 1

Put a slice of fresh lemon into your green tea or add half of a teaspoon of bottled lemon juice if you are a citrus lover.

    • 2

Put fresh mint leaves into a cup of newly brewed green tea. The hot water will bring out the leaves' invigorating flavor.

    • 3

Mix half of a teaspoon of pomegranate juice into your tea to sweeten it. A small drop of vanilla extract will also sweeten the tea.

    • 4

Avoid brewing for more than two minutes if you do not like the taste of strong green tea. Dilute with warm water if necessary.

Tips & Warnings

  • Many brands sell green tea with already added flavors such as citrus. If the taste of green tea simply does not agree with you, try green tea supplement pills sold in health food shops and vitamin centers.

Uh, no, to YOU, mkstuder. The quality of the Green Tea may have nothing to do with it. I've tried several high-end brands. I just do NOT like the taste of it. Some people don't like the taste of chocolate, chicken, beer- whatever- and it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the quality of the product.

Uh, no. If you have to make green tea "taste better" you either have bad tea to begin with or you steeped it wrong. A high quality green tea has a fresh and delicious flavor. Try using a good quality loose-leaf green tea such as Dragonwell from a reliable tea company. Or try a high quality green tea blend such as Boulder Blues by The Tea Spot
