Looking like a professional photographer is all about being a professional photographer. You can't be just a person with a camera taking pictures. 1. Take a class on photography. There are various classes to choose from online and in your local colleges and universities. Make sure the one you choose focuses solely on photography. 2. Choose your niche. What do you want to take pictures of? What are you good at taking pictures of? Some photography niches include glamor, fashion, products, landscapes, animals, and sports. 4. Rent an office space in your local area. Find a building with office spaces in it. 5. Set up marketing materials. You will need a photography website, business cards, fliers and presence. Set them up using your own photographs. Hire a brochure designer, a website designer and a copywriter to complete these tasks for you. Start attending business networking meetings in your area.
