Instructions

  1. Make a Nissan Car Payment Online

    • 1

Choose how you prefer to make your online payment. You can pay by electronic check from your checking account, by using your checking account debit card, or by using your Discover credit card.

    • 2

From the BillMatrix website payment page which is linked with NMAC (see Resources below for a link to this page), click "Start payment process."

    • 3

Type in your Nissan account number, ZIP code and phone number. On the next page, select your preferred payment method and the amount you want to pay--the standard monthly payment or a larger amount.

    • 4

Enter your checking account information, debit card number or credit card number. Review the payment summary, click to approve and view the confirmation. Print the confirmation if you desire.

    • 5

Keep track of when the payment is deducted from your account, because BillMatrix does not always deduct the payment the same day. The Nissan contract assures that payments made before 4 p.m. Central Standard Time are credited to your Nissan account the same day, while payments made after 4 p.m. CST or on a weekend or holiday are posted the next business day.

    • 6

Adjust your checking account or credit card payment records to include the service fee required by BillMatrix. As of 2009, the fee for using a credit card is $12.95, while using a check or debit card costs $5.

    • 7

View your billing statements and transaction history online, obtain payoff amounts, and update your account information at the Nissan website at your leisure.
