How to Remove a Virus Dropper

A virus dropper is a virus program from the Trojan family of viruses that installs software on your system without permission. There is a great variety of virus droppers. However, the suggested solution below hunts and removes a virus dropper from your computer regardless of the type.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to FreeAvg.com (see Resources section below).

  2. Step 2

    Scroll down the page until you see the link "Get It Now" under AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. Click on the link.

  3. Step 3

    Click on "Download" in the "AVG Anti-Virus Free" column.

  4. Step 4

    Click on "Save" to save the installation file to your computer.

  5. Step 5

    Double-click on the saved .exe file to begin installation.

  6. Step 6

    Follow the installation wizard instructions to install the AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition to your system.

  7. Step 7

    Click on "Scan" after the installation is complete. This action will result in automatic scanning of your system and removal of found virus droppers.
