How to Remove a Virus Dropper

A virus dropper is a virus program from the Trojan family of viruses that installs software on your system without permission. There is a great variety of virus droppers. However, the suggested solution below hunts and removes a virus dropper from your computer regardless of the type.

Instructions

1. Go to FreeAvg.com (see Resources section below).

2. Scroll down the page until you see the link "Get It Now" under AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. Click on the link.

3. Click on "Download" in the "AVG Anti-Virus Free" column.

4. Click on "Save" to save the installation file to your computer.

5. Double-click on the saved .exe file to begin installation.

6. Follow the installation wizard instructions to install the AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition to your system.

7. Click on "Scan" after the installation is complete. This action will result in automatic scanning of your system and removal of found virus droppers.
