How to Make a Cool Pyramid

A paper pyramid.

Building a cool pyramid is easy. It makes an educational school project or fun rainy day activity. Kids can decorate their pyramids however they want.

Things You'll Need

• White card stock
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Tape
• Spray paint

Instructions

1. Measure out four 6-by-6 inch triangles and one 6-by-6 inch square on white card stock. Cut out the shapes.

2. 

   Lay the 6-by-6 inch square on a clean table. Lay a triangle next to each side of the square to form a star.

3. Tape the edges of the triangles to the edge of the square.

4. Fold each triangle up, pressing down hard on the seam where it is taped to the square. Tape the edges of the triangles together.

5. Lay a piece of old newspaper down on the garage floor or out in the driveway. Place the pyramid on the paper. Spray paint your pyramid the color of your choice.
   Allow the paint to dry according to the manufacturer's directions.

6. Decorate your pyramid with stickers, beads, glitter, paper die-cuts or any other material.
