How to Make a Doggie Bandana
Dressing up your dog can be expensive and obnoxious but a little flair will make other pet owners jealous. A doggie bandanna is a great way for your dog to celebrate their favorite holiday or support their favorite sports team. With a little bit of fabric and a few quick cuts, your dog will be stylish in no time.

Roll fabric out flat. Take ruler and measure 16 inches across. Make a line with a pencil.

Place the ruler at the end of the 16-inch line, hold it at a diagonal. Measure 8 inches across. Make a line with a pencil.

At the opposite end of the 16-inch line, place the ruler again at a diagonal. Measure 8 inches across. Make a line with a pencil.

Cut along your pencil lines.

Tie the bandanna loosely around your dog's neck.

If the bandanna is too long, remove it so the dog does not trip. Roll the fabric on the 16-inch side a bit, then re-tie. This will make the bandanna shorter.

Tips & Warnings
Bandannas can end up very dirty if your dog plays outside. Wash them from time to time.
Do not tie the bandanna too tightly so as to obstruct a dog's airflow.
