Halogen light bulbs provide brighter, whiter light than their standard bulb counterparts, and use slightly less electricity. Their small size also makes halogen lights popular in pendant lights above dining areas. The only disadvantage to halogen lights is that they're a bit a harder to remove from the socket than a standard bulb.

Turn the light off and wait for the bulb to cool.

Moisten a suction cup with a few drops of water.

Stick the suction cup to the halogen light bulb.

  4. Step 4

  • Don't squeeze too hard on the globe, especially if it is glass or hard plastic.
